1990 Ford F250-Cameron H.
From the time I was 14 and started working full time this was always my dream truck, but I had a really hard time finding an IDI with a 5 speed behind it that wasn’t beat to heck. After going through a couple Chevys, new and really old, I finally found it. It was in all right condition, but I wanted it pretty much bone stock and in mint condition. So over the past year or 2 every time I have a couple bucks to spare I buy a new part from LMC, be it new front spring, new seat, head lights, quarter panels, or anything else I can find that is wrong with it. I think I’m pretty close to having it done! A couple new gaskets in the engine and a new IP and injectors is the next project.
She is my baby and I genuinely love her like family, and hopefully won’t ever need to sell it. She’s with me everywhere I go, hauling asphalt tools to the job site, taking my canoe to the creeks, or up hunting in the mountains. There’s no better therapy after a major life struggle than going for a cruise with my truck and getting away from it all for a bit. I’m sad to say I haven’t been able to drive it much lately as I broke my clutching leg so she sits idle till I’m better.
Maybe I’m just weird but I think a person is crazy if they don’t get attached to their truck, and attached is a understatement!
Thank you LMC for the great customer service and high quality parts. Keep up the good work!
