1984 Chevy K10 Scottsdale – Allison N.
This is my baby, “Bandit.” I basically rescued her from becoming just another rotting corpse of what is a beautiful part of truck history. She was sitting in the same spot; not moving, not being taken care of, nothing, for 10 long years. I have wanted her since I was 9, and when I had the chance I bought her. She came with everything stock, original tranny original 305 motor. The owner at the time had asked me if I wanted the 305 or the 350, of course, I chose to pull the 305 out and drop the crate 350 down in her engine bay. The transmission only has 14,299 ORIGINAL miles. When I bought her she had 10,796 original miles. She still is being broke in! All the work that has been put into my truck Bandit was done by my father and I. I learned everything I know because of him, and I thank him so much for that. She has no, and I mean NO rust. All new body panels, and I needle scalled and undercoated and painted and clear coated her under carriage. I also had recently just bought a 4 1/2″ cowl hood and painted that, painted the grille, tinted all my lights, my interior lights are all purple/pink leds. She sits stock with stock tires currently but in a few years she’ll be on a 10″ lift (6″ suspension, 4″ body) on 40″ tires (maybe a little bigger depending on spacing). She is my pride and joy, she is my Bandit.
