1978 Ford F250-Ryun O.

The truck is a 1978 Ford F-250 Supercab I am the third owner of this pickup. I bought it from a family friend this last summer. The truck was sitting in the backfield at my parents’ house for the last 2 years and before that it sat at my friend’s house. I would say I have been wanting this truck for the last 10 years I remember watching my friend work on it in his garage growing up, thinking one day I will have a truck just like this one. When I got the truck, it had 63k on the odometer. Over the last few months, this truck has had me in the garage every night working. I just recently added the 18-inch American Racing wheels and Kumho Ecsta tires to the truck. The truck has a 400 bored out to a 406 small block power plant under the hood with full MSD Ignition system. I remember in high school one of my good friends had a 1979 Ford Bronco with a 460 and we would take that thing everywhere. The power of that truck kept us in the spotlight with the authorities haha. I could not tell you how many times on a Friday night we would be out racing in that thing. I plan on keeping this Supercab on the street and taking it to car shows as I have begun to build it for that purpose. This winter I plan to tear out the interior to build a full custom interior. After that, I plan to submit more pictures of the truck to LCM for a possible Magazine cover/Spread.
