1989 GMC Sierra – Tyler K.

I originally got the truck when I was 14 from my dads boss who ran a tow company. The truck was towed for sitting and when the owner came to give up the keys he told us that the motor was blown and it needed a motor. I headed out there to look at it and found a birds nest in the fan and it half apart but I still wanted it. My dad talked to his boss and told him I would be buying it and he gave it to me for free so once we got it to my house I went to work putting the motor back together and it fired right up but had a horrible sound. The O2 sensor was broken off in the manifold. We drove to the auto parts store near me and picked one up real fast and then that’s when it started getting the real work done to it. We took it to my dads shop and started to do all the body work on it where we quickly found out it had been in a few accidents and was repainted before but not very well. I Slowly built up more parts and in 2 years the entire truck had been redone inside and out including bucket seats out of a 2012 Honda. I quickly got bored and had to lower it “just a bit more”. 6 more inches in the back and 3 more in the front we were sitting at a 5/10 and bouncy as could be. I Quickly decided I needed air bags in my life and that’s where the story is now. With a stockpile of parts and still gathering more.
