1992 Ford F150-Michael H.

I purchased my F-150 new in 1992. My wife and I had hopes of investing in rental properties and at the time only owned a Saab. You could see our dilemma. After purchasing the F-150 right away we started hauling materials for building the houses. Over the next 15 years my we built 16 homes, all with the help of the Ford every step of the way. In between building the houses, I drove back and forth to Detroit from Florida for work in power plant operations. After that, I drove all over Florida for consulting and power plant jobs. Never once did the truck do anything but get me there, even slept in it a few times!
Since finishing the last house in 2012, I’ve had time to restore the truck a little more than before, which is the way you see him today. I’m proud to say that after 23 years and never leaving me stranded I couldn’t bear to part with it.
