1998 GMC Sierra – Dean F.
My dad had a 1988 extended cab long bed with the 350 in it so after seeing his truck I had been attached to the body style of the 88-98 ever since. As my dad and I were driving through a Home Depot parking lot we had seen this beautiful dark blue GMC Sierra with a for sale sign in the back window. We immediately pulled the truck over to begin looking at it and saw the owner was laying down taking a nap and about to post pictures of it online. There was no need to because we ended up buying it later that night. It had 213,000 miles on it already from doing alot of highway driving from the previous owner. My dad and I started by putting diamond plated bed rails and tailgate caps on it and a hitch receiver so I could pull the family boat. Next was new shocks and air shocks in the back. We had put some beefier tires on with Cooper A/T3. I put American Racing Outlaw 2 wheels on at work since I work at Discount Tire. True duals have been put on with supper 44 series and 2 inch pipes so its not too big but still sounds amazing. Transmission has been rebuilt and just a bunch of other small things and cleaning. I love this truck and I hope I can keep it maintained so when I get a son he’ll be able to drive it one day.
