1986 Chevy C10 – Brayden R.
| I met a guy at a local mall in the parking to look at trading for this truck. At the time I had a 2001 Cavalier. This truck had next to no floor in the driver’s side, the exhaust leak was coming straight into the cab. The 305 small block had a nasty misfire and wouldn’t stay running but it had 3 new tires on it and a bed full of parts. I quickly headed home with it after stopping on a country road to see if it would lay some rubber. After being disappointed about the 305 having next to no power I got it home and pulled the doghouse off. I replaced the front fenders and floor with all new LMC parts and then got the body lines straight. The 305 that’s currently in it is bolted to a THM250 and a 10 bolt rear end, gets the job done for small work but a built 355 and 700r4 will soon follow but I’m not rushing anything as it is my first truck. Of course, I’ve threatened to sell it 100 times but it’s become a family member in its own way and LMC has allowed me to drive it without getting us all wet like it used to. Thanks, LMC for the quality parts. |
