1990 Ford Bronco-Zach K.

When I first got the Bronco, she had been neglected (definitely was close to junkyard-bound). It overheated, shifted terribly, had death wobble, pulled like a freight train (to one side, of course). Through a lot of work, I spent time working on it while maintaining persistent in my studies (currently pursuing my associate in business); I dif the oil pan, and found out the hard way I needed to lift the motor five inches just to slide it out! Spending late nights with my friends, flushing the coolant, several times and ultimately replacing the thermostat as well. I also down sized the tires to 35’s, much more steet-able than those beastly 38’s. I did both front rotors and bearing, nee studs were in order as well. I did the outer axle shaft bearing and oil seal, as the drum was covered in gear oil. In the process of finishing that job, the upper and lower spider gears fell out, hence spending three hours making sure the spacer was in properly and the pinion shaft would go in properly. I also put a new steering column in, after going through three ignition cylinders — guess that old column had a black cloud over it. Nonetheless, I now have an inspected Bronco and I am passionate about these vehicles. I tried hard on my last one, but I didn’t have the money to make it possible. I found this one, and to tell the truth there’s many forseeable late nights ahead; but it’s a part of automotive history, and history is what I don’t want it to be! Hard work awaits, but with the help of a company like LMC it’s just a fee threads away! Thank you LMC truck. I love taking her out on a Sunday morning, and looking back on all the instrumentally important lessons this vehicle has taught me . . . Things I would not have learned otherwise. I sit with the satisfaction, that my late mother who passed of stage 3B non-smoking lung cancer would be proud, as she (like I) had a passion for older Fords. Once again, thank you LMC. You have invaluable services to the truck restoration community!
