1978 Ford F250-Dave B.

My truck is a 1978 F250 King cab Lariat Edition.
I got it back in 1991 when my second child was born. There just wasn’t enough room in my old high-boy for my wife and both of the kids, so with some cash on top I traded my neighbor for this old girl since his son was in love with my truck.

Though out the years this truck became a staple in our family, and was deemed, “The Old Lady.” The truck did anything and everything I could ever ask for, from trips to the race track and putting up with the abuse of teaching my daughter to drive.
In early 2012 I decided it was time to show the old girl some love and started tearing her apart for some body work and much needed paint. But like things always do when funds where plentiful time wasn’t and the other way around. It wasn’t until 2015 that we were able to finally get her going back together.

The years that the truck spent tore apart in the garage were painful. It was like a true part of our family was missing.

All I know is it was more than worth the wait.
