1965 Chevy C10-Luc R.

My name is Luc Roberts, I’m in love with the 60-66 Chevy trucks but especially the 65. I myself own two 65 C10’s, one is a longbox fleetside that me and my dad started when I was 16 doing a full frame off resto, but the second is a 65 short box fleetside truck that I picked up when I was 18 to make into my own rat rod daily driver and that is what I did. Here’s the story about this truck. I picked it up off a lady in Victoria who had let this thing sit and rot away. She didn’t know what she had. I spotted it 2 years before I bought it just sitting there and I told myself I am one day going to buy that truck and 2 years later that’s exactly what I did. I bought it and towed it home where I started my journey with this truck. It has now a 350 sbc with high rise edelbrock intake and carb, headers, dual exhaust, power steering, I upgraded as much as I can. I then put a 4spd trans in it, power breaks up front lowered 6″ all around. Rebuilt the rear end, it has a 4:56 posi rear end 5 bolt all around. I did some minor body work like new rocker panels and such. I rewired the entire truck head to toe and now I can’t wait to put her back on the road for summer. That is the quick story about my truck. This is my dream truck and I’m never getting rid of her.
