1976 Ford F250-George F.
My story begins on my birthday this year, January 6th. I was cruising on some back roads and happened to catch a glimpse of a blue Ford cab. I do that a lot, cruise around our small town Kansas roads and look for old Ford pickups. I hadn’t ever happened to see this one before but I’m glad I did. I pulled into the farm and asked if it was for sale. He said yes, and let me take it for a spin around the section. A 1976 F250 Ranger XLT with all the options and it drove like a dream. I bought the pickup. After a couple days I then got the story on the pickup, it was originally bought in Golden, Colorado by the owner’s cousin. The original 360 engine had climbed many mountains and chased many cows and got a work out. Dropped into the pickup just before I bought it was a mached up 390. I did some digging around and found the original order sheet and dealership cards. Quite the find! Though the pickup is in great shape a build is never done, and with LMC catalogs I plan on making this the coolest ‘76 around here! Though I haven’t had the pickup long I’ve made many memories, and plan on making many more!
