1988 GMC Jimmy – Neil P.

I picked up a 1972 C10 for cheap ($1500) that was a good running and driving truck. All original except for a mildly built 350. Had bad frame rust under the bed. I figured someone out there had more time than me to make it right so I put it up for sale. A gentleman asked if I was taking trades so I entertained his offer. I eventually took the trade and got this 1988 GMC Jimmy. 3/4 ton running gear, 8″ of lift, 35x16x15 boggers on 15×14 barts. 350 with long tubes. Power windows power door locks and AC all work. Interior is in good shape. First thing for me will be some bucket seats with arm rests, then a dana 6o front with crossover high steer. Gotta fix a little rust in the rockers and drivers door, which I’m sure LMC will be happy to help me with! After that gonna pull the engine and tranny and rebuild them. Trade worked out well for everyone and I’m excited. PS my fiance loves the K5 in the driveway more than the C10. So much so she actually helped me wash my boggers!
