1992 Chevy 1500 – Jim W.

I own a 1992 Chevy 1500 2wd sport side pickup with a 5.7 liter. I bought the truck in 1995 from a dealer for $12,000. I drove by the dealership on a Sunday afternoon and saw the truck on display. The next day I took the truck for a test drive and traded in my 1994 S10 that I bought new the year before. Since then the truck has become part of the family, and the most important part, my wife feels the same way! I replaced the stock gearing to a 373 so it would be faster off the start. I had the trans changed to shift harder. I installed a 3inch exhaust with an aftermarket muffler. I replaced the stock hood with a cowl induction fiberglass hood. I dressed up the interior with an aluminum dash kit. I have installed a complete aftermarket audio system. My resto slowed down significantly after my son was diagnosed with lymphoma. I have installed a ton of parts from LMC Truck so far and I know that when my son’s health improves, I can count on LMC Truck to help me finish my project!
