1985 Chevy Scottsdale – Sabrina M.

My father bought this truck in 1996 in its original form. He restored it and brought it to its sharp Chevy style. KCs, lift kit, brush guard, paint job everything. Everyone who knew that truck knew it was ours. Throughout the years, she had been through some rough times. Broken into at the river, back glass busted, engine catching on fire driving down the road, to it being the only form of transportation in the horrible Ice Storm of 2009. In 2014, there was another snowstorm which resulted in our shop roof caving in on this truck and our 2014 GMC. At one point this 85 was the only thing holding up the roof. Hope was lost at this point of having her back to normal. Well, with long talks and dedication and love we found a replacement roof had it put back on and back together and fresh paint completely redone and new restoration of the busted parts. 2016 and she’s back to the big blue beauty everyone around here knows and loves. This truck has been in our family since I was 2 years old and will continue to be with us until I pass away and will be passed down to my children.
