1963 Chevy K10-Nic N.

Bought this truck when I was in high school, about 1975 or 76. My first one was a 1962 SWB stepside that got wrecked. Found this 63, it was a long wheelbase stepside. Didn’t care for the long stepside, so in my senior year welding class I made it into a short wheel base from the parts of my old truck. All this was done in Billings, Montana where I grew up. I now live in Minnesota where my kids were born. I title these two pictures as “Same gal, Same truck”. The first picture was when she was about 2, the second was when she was about 23. The truck is pretty much original except for the engine, plus I added on another spare tire on the riggt side. Still runs pretty good. Just keep her out of the salt now.
