1985 GMC Sierra Classic – Darren N.

Bought the truck when I was 19. She started out as a 2wd halftone 5l automatic. From there I swapped frames and now she’s sitting on a 1984 3/4 tone 4×4 frame so I decided to badge her as a heavy half. From there the truck just took off. Was originally used as a medical truck then a camper until I got my hands on it. I bought her to use as a truck to get from a to b but she just ran too good to keep her as she was. From there I lifted her 8 inches and stuffed some 40s in. Every panel and part has been replaced besides the cab. Probably the most iconic one out there. I submitted her to World of Wheels in Calgary, Alberta this year and she came out in 3rd place. At the time I wasn’t finished with my restoration either so I was very impressed with the outcome. She’s blow up across the Internet and everywhere I go It turns into an hour long talk about the truck. Which turns into an all day event with how much you have to stop for gas in her haha.
