1995 Chevy 1500 – Wesley H.

My truck started as a $750 truck to use on the farm. It had a wore out 5.0 with a broken 5 spd transmission and torn up transfer case. The interior was a wreck. The cab corners were rusted out and the bed wasn’t salvageable. I started with the big stuff new transmission, a bed, door, even a fender. I did the usual maintenance and fixed all the major body damage and primed it so it wouldn’t look so bad and then i drove it as my daily driver for almost a year before I started the real transformation. In August 2016 I ordered all the parts to put a 5.3 vortec motor with fuel injection in it. Shortly after I got it running I had a friend offer to help me finish the body work and paint it. So i decided to go with a blue pearl white. I bought a new grille, headlights and led taillights. It rests on top of a set of 35×12.5×20 M/Ts with all new power interior and ice cold a/c. I would just like to thank my girlfriend for all of her patience during this project.
