1972 Chevy K10 – Jim P.
I got my Chevy pickup when I was 15 as a present from my dad as my first truck. I started collecting parts and worked on it but never got it running after countless trips to the junkyard down the road. So I let it sit and said I’d start from the frame up and do it right the first time. The truck sat till I turned 25. I always told my girlfriend now my wife I would have it done for my wedding. well, the truck got pulled out and started to work on it, then got engaged. The project took 14 months of every night working on it started by taking the truck down to nothing every part was sand blasted axles gone threw and frame painted. Went through the motor and trans and installed in the frame then the fun part the body work from patch panels to leading, bondo, hight fill primer and block filing. and did the custom interior my self. Lots of people had doubt it would be done but thanks to my family and some close friends and expecially my friend Justin for the final paint. It was finished. We drove it on the wedding for our get away vehicle and for pictures.
