1983 Chevy K10 – BJ H.

I have built plenty of these trucks and have used LMC for most of the parts to put them back together. I always try and find OEM rust free panels and LMC has helped me with the exterior, interior and underhood. I have always wanted to build a truck for the Mecum Auction in Kansas City and I decided on this 1983 Chevrolet K-10. I started with a rust free truck and took it completely down to the frame. 10 months later, I had this beauty and boy did it turn out great! 350, .30 over, roller rockers, RV cam. 350 Transmission and 208 Transfer case. It has the bigger 12 bolt rear end with 3.73 gears. 35×12.5 BF Goodrich tires and 15×10 Mickey Thompson Classic III wheels. The color is an original color from GM, code 29. I turned the interior from blue to gray with components from LMC. Needless to say, I really hated to see the truck go, but it sold and I couldn’t be more proud of how it turned out! Now, on to the next one!
