1989 GMC K1500 Sierra
| We would like to see if LMC had interest in our story and our 1989 GMC K1500 Sierra. The vehicle has been restored using over $3,000 of LMC parts. The truck has been expertly painted and is in stock condition. I have attached several pictures. Giving my son 17-year-old son the truck on 2/20/17 was one of the proudest days of my life! My wife and I were able to restore my father’s 1989 GMC Sierra Pickup. He bought it in October of 1988 brand new. My mom didn’t drive and It was my parents’ means of transport until his passing in September of 1996. He let us borrow it in the winter of 1995 to go on a skiing trip to Vermont. He made me promise to be careful with his truck. “I am retired now and it needs to last us a long time”. His grandson who he never met is now driving it. This truck has a tremendous amount of additional meaning to both my wife and I. When my father passed away Jack (my wife’s father ) was kind enough to let us store it in his driveway, In exchange, I asked him to use it whenever he wanted. It became his means of transport until his sad passing in 2011. So my son Robert ( named after my father) should feel the strength, kindness, and wisdom of both his grandfather’s when he is out on the road. My father never met Rob. He would be very proud! I couldn’t ask for a better son.
