1991 GMC Sonoma – Dustin P.

Well the truck was original my dads uncles truck that he bought new in 1991.. the truck has spent its life here in Indiana.. unfortunately my dad’s uncle passed away. My dad got the truck to use just for a beater. The truck still ran and drove great just the body was about to rust away.. after some time I decided to start cutting out the rust and welding new sheet metal into it. That quickly snow balled into lifting up the cab replacing all the cab mounts and some floor pans. After all the rust was gone I started on the body work and had the truck painted back the original red.. I couldn’t stop there tho. Next I lowered the truck down using 2 inch drop spindles and two inch coil springs in the front and 3in drop leaf springs and a 3in block out back.. now that the truck had a much more aggressive look I decided to pull out the faded out original red interior and dye it tan to make it easy on the eyes.. I then replaced the torn seat cover and the torn up rubber floor mat.. the front grill is custom made 2 91 s10 grills molded together for a custom yet simple look. To finish it off I had some stock s10 wheels sandblasted and power coated black with some hot rod caps after a lot of hard work u have the truck u see right here! #olred Thanks LMC for a lot of great parts to get this truck where it’s at today!
