1966 Ford 350-Randy W.

My 2006 Expedition engine was about to let go. I was tired of all the electronics and other modern day annoyances so I thought I’d go back to when things were simpler. When I was a kid, my father owned a 1965 Ford F-100 short bed with a 390 V-8 which I thought was very cool. While looking online for a similar F-100 or F-250 pickup, I stumbled across a very original F-350 flatbed with dump, dual wheels, and 352 V-8. This was probably a cab-and-chassis farm truck up-fitted with dump bed and special stake sides. It was located in Nebraska. Loved it from the word go, so I bought it and had it shipped back to PA for a new life as an easy going Sunday firewood hauler, among other things. It’s a tough, “old school” truck. Looking forward to going through and fixing minor details. I will probably keep it mostly original and, of course, drive it often.
I think the truck’s nickname should be “Brutus”
