This project was the transformation of an old Sonoma wine country farm truck into a high performing shop truck. We performed a 24 valve Cummins diesel engine swap and complete body restoration, took the car down to bare metal and rebuilt entire body. We upgraded suspension, brakes, interior, transmission and electronics. The engine conversion took us from the original 72 era gas engine from 10 MPG to 25 MPG range with the diesel engine plus an increase horsepower and torque. This truck is now able to haul a lot more than just wine grapes. Big Blue made its debut at the Good Guys Spring Get-Together in Pleasanton, CA in March 2017.
