1997 Chevy Silverado – Alex M.

I just turned 33 years old and my entire life as far as I can remember my entire family has always owned chevy trucks nothing els. I always loved the 88-98 body style the most my dad was a huge Chevy guy he passed a little while ago I had a son and named him after my dad and I wanted to leave him this truck after I’m gone. 4 years ago I purchased a reg cab short bed 2wd black Silverado with. Sport wheels. It was a yard truck and had a 305 vortec. It was rotted out everywhere being I live in New England. So I got a good deal for it and decided to restore it for my son.

I blew the 305 intentionally to install a 1998 350 vortec. After the swap I built the engine every bolt on ever made duals the works then I removed the spider injectors and installed racing ones then swapped the ecu and installed a newer one and then tuned it. Then I took it to a body shop and went to town. I restored the truck frame up and painted it torch red and installed new wheels and tires. It came factory with. Beige interior and I installed factory red interior. Now I am doing a ls376 swap package with all new upgrades and kits the works. It took a lot of time and a hole lot of money and still is not done.
