1949 Ford F1 – Raymond Escobar

Truck was purchased in May of 2008. Truck had more GM parts on it than a Chevy and I struggled for three years trying keep it going. Finally in 2011, I purchased another truck and started a restoration from the frame up using the best parts from both trucks. It was reconstructed with all ford parts. The appearance of the truck was kept as original as possible including functional instrument panel. Starting from the front, it has an Aluminum Radiator from a 1984 Ford Explorer, a fully restored 351W Engine from a 1974 Ford Truck, Automatic Overdrive Transmission, Aluminum driveshaft that is connected to a 1997 Ford Crown Vic rear end with 3.66 gears and a 2003 Ford Crown Vic front end that were installed to give it the wide stance look and to round it all off, the truck was painted a Fire Red Metallic with power steering, all Disc Power Brakes, A/C and electric windows.
