1986 Dodge Royal – Michael Chartrand

I first got my truck in 2015 summer time. it is an old 1986 with a little rust. When i got the truck she was beaten up and falling apart. I got a tone up on her and she still needed work. The seat is a little torn and is almost all original. I put in my own stereo, worked on the wires by myself, and fixed the bumper with my dad. the royal project will never be done. I will always have ideas to turn her into as original as i can. I will put a lot of OEM parts on her. But i will also keep the stuff i like. she is quite and is a farm truck. This my first truck and i will never forget working on her every weekend until there is no sunlight. I repainted the door panels to look like new. The truck can with a toolbox and step rails but i take all of them off because it didn’t look right to me. The truck steering was out of alignment. The tires were old. But got them fixed. The royal project is a big thing in my life.
