1988 W100 Power Ram – Michael Cark

Michael Cark lucked out by finding his 1988 Dodge W100 Power Ram, or at least he got lucky with how he picked it up, and he hasn’t looked back through the mud-covered rear window since.

The previous owner of this tough Power Ram purchased it from an estate auction and was able to get it to start right up after throwing in a new battery and some fresh fuel, despite the fact that it sat unused for 10 years. Michael has since managed to put an additional 14,000 miles on the Power Ram within his first year of using it as a daily driver and weekend toy.

The stock V8 engine doesn’t deliver a ton of power, and the throttle body injection needs some work, but Michael’s Dodge truck can still handle any amount of mud he throws at it. In fact, with the help of a 4-inch lift, all-terrain tires, modified exhaust, and a few other light modifications, Michael has been having a great time competing in local mud bogs, and he’s even managed a podium finish. We’re looking forward to hearing more of his mud-flinging adventures as the continues the restoration and competition.

“I’ve entered the truck in a few local mud bogs, and I have a blast doing it.”
