The truck was a gift from my grandfather. It had been sitting for a few years and never saw any love. When he gave it to me it had rust on the frame and rust in the floor boards. I took and pulled the carpet out fixed the rust and bed lined the whole floor. After that i drove it for a while and then decided I wanted to lift it. I put a 5 inch superlift suspension lift under it and put it rolling on 35 inch mastercrafts. I then started putting work into the frame and axles. It took me about 3 days with a wire grinder and sandpaper to get all the rust off. I then sprayed the whole undercarriage with gloss black Rustoleum paint. So far the truck has come a long way with 87k original miles and far more to go the truck is in top notch shape. I’m not done with truck because my goal is to put it in truck shows. It’s my daily driver and a definite head turner. I can’t wait to have it all finished.
