1974 Ford F250 – Jim O.

The year was 1975 and I was 22 years old working at a local Texaco service station in Woodland Hills, Ca.

A neighborhood customer drove his truck in for service and I mentioned how nice it looked, he said that he was going to sell it because his wife thought a van would be more practical for their young family. I ended up buying it, that was 43 years ago, It took my family on our summer vacations fishing and camping in the mountains and lakes. It carried a 9-1/2 ft camper on it’s back and towed a boat. I’ve taken care of it through the years, now I’m 65 a Proud Father and a Happy Grandpa.
