1973 Ford F100 – Thomas P.

My father and I drove down to Fredericksburg, TX where a family friend’s father lives. He and I drove to this family friend’s farm, where we would pickup Ol’ Blue. This story starts on January 7th, 2018. When my father and I arrived back at home, I was told that if I paid for all the repairs for the truck, including insurance and inspection, etc… then the truck would be mine. I immediately took him up on this offer. I’ve been working non-stop basically on this truck ever since, and as of April 13th, the truck is now drivable, and no longer wants to stall. I did a full brake job, replaced the fuel pump, carburetor rebuild, new wheels and tires, and a bunch of things from LMC a truck like a new seat cover, door panels, new door weatherstripping, and a few other things. This truck has been worked on in the rain, sun, and fog, and throughout it all, I have made some amazing memories with my father. There is still much to be desired, like a paint job, but Ol’ Blue is slowly making its way there!
