1975 Chevy Custom – Tracy S.

It all started in 1981 when my Dad (Junior )bought a green 1976 Chevy 4×4 3/4 ton. We did everything in this truck. I was 10 when he got it and I thought it was the badest thing ever. He held on to it until 01 when he gave it to me. With plans to make it new again. I put a whole different body on it. Worked on it while still using it. On day I lost it on some ice and rolled it and ruined everything I made better. The truck was still driveable but needed a whole new body again. So one-day last year I found this 2×4 rust free one owner with 45k miles on it. My dad and I went together and picked it up. We have taken the last year upgrading this one while going through the running gear off his old 4×4. With plans on merging the two someday. The end result will be a 4×4 powered with a 454 board to a 468 with a 400 turbo, 205 transfer and 373 gears with a 6inch lift and 36 tall tires. With plans on passing it down to my child one day.
