1975 Ford F100 – Dan F.

I wanted a truck to use for a truck on family’s farm. I obtained a F100’from my brother thinking it needed a tranny and cosmetics. After having the tranny rebuilt the motor was rebuilt twice. She is finally drivable. I have bought various parts from y’all and still have a long road ahead of me. This was never a restoration project. It was more of a something to haul things around when I am in town. You know because my Avalon and Civic were too small and my Avalanche is too nice. I have completed the rear end recently and will move toward electrical next. She isn’t super pretty but she sounds delightful and sucks gas like a fat kid eating donuts. And who doesn’t like a fat kid. Sorry it that’s not PC. Anyway. Still, need to rebuild front end and then one day some paint and bodywork. I was going to sell her if the first motor rebuild fiasco but saved up another year and found a reputable machine shop that changed my mind. I was going to sell her again after it finally ran but my wife has grown to like her. Her name is Flow and I guess she is bigger and badder than the first incarnation since the .030 bore makes her 396 cubic inches. I love the 76 split grille inserts from your company. I recently ordered a fan shroud and a multitude of small parts. Who knew you could spend so much on the little stuff that no one ever notices. Ha. Anyway thanks for your tech help and inclusive catalogs. I also acquired a 69 F250 and may just end up being a full resto with my son. The jury isn’t out on that one yet. Y’all no how fast college kids can change directions
