1979 Ford F150 – Karl F.

I bought my truck new. it has a 4 spd trany but I wanted an overdrive. I installed an Advanced adapters splitter transmission between the bell housing and the main trany. It is shifted with an Eaton shifter and a switch on the gear shift. This gives me 8 forward gears in high range. good for pulling the horse trailer.
I pull company airplanes, pull the horse trailer, haul wood and haul hay with my truck.

my truck has an aftermarket cam,Edelbrock intake manifold,600 CFM Holley carb, headman headers and a 4-inch lift kit.

I put airbags on the back to help carry the weight of the horse trailer.

I guess I’ll have this truck forever!
