1994 GMC 2500 Series – Jerry S.

Just got her a week ago and could not be more happy. I had always said I would get a new GMC 2500 4×4 for myself as a retirement gift. It never happened and that dream was dead till I met this beauty. It may not be new but to me she’s worth more. I retired 6 years ago and family was on the top of the list over the past 6 years. Well I had a few dollars to spend and by God’s Grace I met her. She was put up for sale the same time I started looking and for some reason no one else went to see her.

The former owner Gregg was the second owner and took great care of her. Now she is with her final owner and we will ride into the sunset together one day. My retirement gift has come true and the best part is, she’s a classic just like us seniors. And I love looking under the hood, it seems there is a motor? When you look under the hood of a new truck there’s all kinds of stuff running to who knows where and for what. She is simple like me, easy to work on, high enough off the ground to creep under without a jack, and it does not require a degree in engineering to work on the engine. Nothing better than having a engine and carburetor looking back at you when you open the hood. Reminds me of my first cars back in early 70’s. I’m sure there are a few older guys like me that understand those days and what fun it was. I feel blessed to have found this gem and I will see to the task of taking great care of her.
