1966 Chevy C10 – Lonnie W.

I purchased the truck from a couple in Atlanta Ga. The body was taken apart, with very little rust. I started purchasing parts and the project became more than I could do alone. Friends and family members came and supported me with rust repairs on the floor and replacement of front fenders.

I wanted the truck to be a celebration of my First granddaughter healing from cancer. No matter what we started with, working together we achieved success. My granddaughter is healed and one day we will be riding this beautiful truck together, with a song of Praise. Our family became stronger through our journey and seeing the truck complete helped me each and every day to maintain focus on God’s goodness and HEALING POWER. I’m not so focused on the truck as some might expect, but the journey. Thank you for allowing me to Share, God’s grace and mercy.
