1975 Chevy K20 – Tony M.
I have owned many pickups, mostly Chevrolet, 1952, 1968, 1979, 1981, 1978 and now, a 1975 Chevrolet K20 Scottsdale. My other pickups were Dodge, 1959, 1988, 1985 and 1997. My newest pickup, the 1975 K20 I just purchased, was bought from the original owner who died this spring, I bought it from his widow. He worked at and drove the truck to a Chevy dealer for 45 years where he was a salesman. This truck has 80,445 miles on it with a Thunderbird canopy. It was kept sheltered in a shed it’s whole life. The pickup lived in western Oregon it’s whole life, I live in NW Arizona where I plan on using it to access BLM roads so I can rock hound and drive it locally. The pickup is equipped with a 350 4 barrel, automatic, full time 4×4, single exhaust. It is all original, Grecian Bronze in color, tilt wheel and chrome grill are about the only options. It does have p/s, pdb, no a/c and it has been regularly maintained. I am excited to own such a truck. They are simple, rugged and reliable. I plan on leaving it all original except possibly installing a dual exhaust system and off road traction tires.
