1990 Chevy K5 Blazer – Hayden H.

It started out as a dream I had when I was just 14 years old, scrolling through the classifieds drooling over trucks just like it, but this particular one stood out and however, my dad needed a daily driver he could later pass down to me and that dream I had turned into a reality. We got the engine running like a top and haven’t had any mechanical problems with it, so every penny I earned throughout high school went into this truck and making it my own. It started with the custom rear bumper, then the new 35”s and 20” Moto metal wheels, a few interior touches here and there, and all the light maintenance jobs that come with a good chevy. Lastly, she spent some time at the body shop to fix some dings from previous owners and was given a fresh coat of 2016 ford silver paint that shines like a pearl in the sunlight. I couldn’t have dreamed of a better first vehicle and since I joined the navy, I can’t wait to get home and re-live some great moments with the truck.
