1983 Chevy C10 – Gavin W.

This was my Grandfathers truck. After telling him since I was very young that I wanted it he finally gave it to me. I remember him driving it for years and was the first truck my mother remembers him driving.
The truck started smoking around 4 or 5 years ago and also having transmission issues. My grandfather parked it under a lean-to and that’s where it has sat.
I am determined to fix her up. Me and my father have started tearing it apart because it is in need of new interior, paint, motor, trans pretty much everything. I will say the body is in great shape and other than a small spot on the inner finder well it is rust free.
This will be my first vehicle and me and my dad have a year and 8 months before my 16th Birthday to get it done.
What a Birthday present it will be.
After looking around there is no doubt LMC has everything we need to make her right. We have sent off for a catalog and I’m counting down the days till it comes in. I can’t wait to start ordering parts.
