2005 Chevy Tahoe – Dan M.

Sold my 2002 Tahoe for a 2015 Silverado. Quickly found out the truck was not what I wanted and didn’t fit my needs. After two years with the Silverado I decided to go back to the Tahoe. However it had to be a 2nd generation Tahoe. The 2nd generation are just my favorite style.
Found the 2005 Tahoe on a local car lot with 164,000 miles. Needed some suspension and steering work. An oil leak addressed, but overall exterior and engine looked great.
Interior was a little different. The car lot had it detailed, but it smelled and could certainly tell the prior owners had kids and didn’t care for it..
After the purchase the interior was completely stripped out. All seat covers removed and washed. Installed sound deadening material and new carpet. Interior now looks brand new. Still amazed how well the seat covers cleaned up.
Had the Tahoe for over a month now and still tinkering with things, but extremely happy to be back in the Tahoe.
