1988 GMC Jimmy Gypsy- Ted N.
I got this truck about 8 years ago. I’ve always driven on like it over the last 23 years but have had to start over about every 10 years. Right now it’s been parked since march do to it going dead and I haven’t been able to get it running ago. It means alot to me because my dad helped me with it. He helped with the starter, alternator, just helped me to keep it running. I’ve done a ton of mods to it. I put in 92 pontiac front seat, 91 oldsmobile bravda overhead console, 2000 blazer disc brake rear end, suicide hood, phantom grill, old school pinstripping, newer steering wheel, has 2″ drop springs, 2″ drop spindles, 4″ drop blocks, lowered shocks all the way around, I took my son to a three days car show and he is now into cars as much as I am. Right now it’s sitting on jack stands because I still haven’t been able to make it run. Because of it my son has started dual enrollment with his high school and local tech school so he can work on cars. It’s hard to say how much it is worth to me but I have so many memories in it that I can’t let go of it. It’s got over 525,000 miles on it too.
