1989 Ford Ranger XLT- Bill B.

My father in law ordered this new as a retirement gift to himself. When he was diagnosed as terminal he asked us just to dispose of it upon his death. At that point it had been stored in the woods for the better part of 17 years. With so many great memories wrapped up in it I couldn’t bear to sell it and drove back to OH. Once I got home and looked it over, and thought to myself what have I gotten into? Well armed with elbow grease and the LMC catalog I’m now the proud owner of one of the cleanest 89 Rangers in the Midwest. Whenever I take it cruising or to a show it always gathers tons of compliments as most Rangers of this vintage are long gone North of the Mason Dixon kine due to the harsh winters. It’s a fun little truck and every time I drive it I think of dad and all the fun times we had together. She has woven herself permanently into the fabric of our family’s life story.
