The New Chapter in My Life

I moved to Southern Oregon after living and working in Los Angeles for 45 years. I’m now close to the family, close to nature, and have a beautiful new home in Grants Pass. And with my new home, comes LOTS of new chores – moving, loading, hauling…

So, rather than borrow my little sister’s Toyota pickup, I set out to find one of my own. I wanted something big and not-so-new. And in my search, I found “The Blue Beast”, a 1962 Ford Custom Cab F-250, in glorious Caribbean Turquoise Blue. One owner who drove the beast all of 30,000 miles. Straight 6, torque for miles, runs like a top with little to no rust. I probably won’t restore it to its original 1962 glory, but it’ll still be a fun project to fix up – even as it hauls my trash to the dump.
