I reconnected with my father after 17 years and while showing me around the property, we came up on an old ’80 F150. I inquired and found out it’d been my grandfather’s since ’85 and was his daily for a long time. However, it had been sitting for 15 plus years and was mistreated after my grandfather’s passing, mainly stemming from a busted heater core (which we found out a year later). My father turned to me and said, “He’d want you to have this.” At the moment, not knowing how much it really meant, I took the project under my wing. Together, over the past four years, my father and I have slowly but surely brought “The Geeze” back to sound stock to be my daily driver for myself and future generations.
