1969 Chevy C20 – David T.
Big Mac
This C20 survived the Paradise Fire of November 2018. A ’69 Chevy C20 I’m tempted to name “Big Mac.” This truck belonged to a roofer so each corner was hit in some way and there was plenty of tar on the ventral sides.
I’m going to flip the rear axel above the springs, lowering it 5″ plus a 2″ drop shackle in the rear, and the front will drop 2″ with dropped spindles plus 2″ more with lower springs. I’ll cut-in a new C notch in the rear to make this happen. I’m going to shorten the frame a foot with a Z notch (NOT A BUTT JOINT) thus making it into a short bed. I’ve decided to go with discs on all fours. I might just go with a new crate motor (comes with 5-year warranty). I’ve got new chrome bumpers on the way, new front fenders, and rear fenders are on their way now, too.[lmc_story_gallery]
