A Boys First Truck

This is my son’s truck; his name is Trevor. He is 12 years-old. Last summer he went to work for two different companies; worked every day. He was able to save up $1,000. We took him to a yard that had this 1974 F100. He pulled his cash out of savings and paid for it himself. His dad and I put a battery in it and after starting it with a screwdriver, drove it to our street, and let him drive it the rest of the way home; his first time driving and barely able to reach the pedals or gear shift. He has been receiving gift cards for his birthday and holidays, and is working on fixing it up a little bit at a time, as his funds permit. He plans on working this summer as well to afford more parts. By the time he has his license in three years, he should have a decent running truck, all paid for by himself.[lmc_story_gallery]
