1986 GMC Suburban – Brandon W.
Sarah’s Shop Truck
I love my square body suburban! Actually, it’s Sarah’s truck. I just clean it, work on it, and obsess over it.
We bought the truck as our daily driver in the summer of 2018. It was purchased from the second owner, who took great care of it. Not quite 200,000 km and mostly original. It has a 350 with a 700R4 and 4.10 gears. A Black Widow muffler gives it a great tone.
Sarah and I operate her small business, a plant and flower shop in Vancouver, Canada. The Suburban supports most of our daily business operations and hauls our two dogs (Buff and Roy) everywhere we go.
After putting as much money into the GMC as it was purchased for, it has been very dependable and a pleasure to drive. LMC came in handy for a few little things that were missing and also the LED tail lights (such a difference!). The plan is to keep it stock-appearing while updating the suspension. A little rust repair is due for the future and some work on the factory paint. It’s good to know that LMC carries practically every part we could need for the Suburban.[lmc_story_gallery]
