1955 Chevy 1300 Birthday Gift

Got my truck from a guy in Red Deer Alberta, Canada. It spent its life as a farm truck in the western province of Alberta. It was shipped 5000 miles to Newfoundland and sat under a tarp outside in the grass. I purchased the truck..we pulled it onto a trailer with a winch. 3 wheels seized…3 flat tires and not running. Brought it home and started the build. It was a gift for my wife’s 40th birthday. She picked the color she wanted and I started to complete the hot rod build I had in mind. It has an LS2 6.0 ltr engine, 4l60e electronic 4 spd transmission, fitech fuel injection system. 10 bolt gm posi rear axle, mustang ii front suspension. Coil-overs in front and axle flip in the rear. Custom door panels and head liner as well as a bench seat. We really like the way it looks. It’s just as the vision I had in my head when I started .
