My First Truck

I got this truck when I was 16 from a guy my stepdad worked with for 250 bucks out of a field. It had sat on ramps for about 6years or more, we got it we pulled it out and it was a mess. We got it home and started cleaning it up. I didn’t really want nothing to do with the truck at first but I need a way to work when I got of high school, so I figured why not give the truck a shot. We did some work on the motor from where it had been sitting for so long and did work to the inside of it and then I got introduced to mini trucks and decided I was going to lower it. Being 18 years old and not having a clue what I was doing, me and a buddy got a set of blocks from a parts store and we lowered it in his garage. It rode awful. I put a set of Malibu hub caps on it and did lil things like that to make it my truck instead of just another 1988 s10. I only gave 250 bucks for it to begin with, fast forward a few years and I blew the motor in it and it sat at my grandparent’s place for a few months. Then I decided to replace the motor and put a set of 15inch Progressive Hammer wheels on it and put a System in it.  Then I let it sit for about year and I still have the truck. I’ve just got back into driving it again and I’m planning on redoing everything I did when I was 18. I’m 23 and it’s been my rehab ever since. There’s something about the truck that gets me back to being 16 and having your first truck and wanting it to be different. That’s why I like the truck[lmc_story_gallery]
