1955 Ford F100 – Ben M.
Jim Mickey’s Truck Story
Before my dad was drafted into Vietnam he bought this 1955 F-100. Just before he left to go to a place that was going to change the rest of his life he gave this truck to my grandfather and my grandfather gave it back to him when he passed in 1987. My dad then brought it home and it sat in the garage since then but before we worked on the truck we rebuilt a 1966 Ford Fairlane.
Just in the last two years my dad‘s health has drastically declined, he has pulmonary fibrosis which he believes is a result of the Vietnam war by a substance called agent orange. He’s on oxygen full-time and the amount of oxygen keeps going up. This is a tribute to him I am doing all that I can to bring some life to this 1955 F100 and get it mobile so he can drive it one last time before he moves on from this earth.[lmc_story_gallery]
