1971 Ford F100 – James B.

Truck for My Childhood

Manufactured in Norfolk, Va.
Has original motor (302) and drive train (3-speed manual on the steering column) with 124,000 miles. Original owner died and passed it to his son. Son sold it to the guy that attempted to clear coat it. He improperly mixed clear coat and now the truck is covered in runs. I intended on stripping the clear coat and repainting. I drive the truck daily and intend on keeping it on the road.

It’s a pleasure to drive even though it has no power steering or brakes. Drum brakes all the way around. With help from LMC I’m enjoying this truck as a hobby. The last ten years I’ve worked on new trucks and this is a pleasure. No computer, no sensors that shut down the truck.[lmc_story_gallery]
